Re: Replacement window felts and gaskets
Hello, I am new to the board also, so welcome. I have the same type of windows in my 72. I wish I could tell you where to get direct replacement parts. eBay does have a variety of "slide window channels". If you have it out you may be able to match it. Good luck and if you find the outer r...

Re: How to re-glue interior panels?
Hello, Are you sure it is not the stove or hood making noise? Your rig is probably to new to have a regular oven but I wrap my oven racks with towels and have hold downs for the cook top grates. If I didn't they would make a racket. Just a thought.

Re: Ultimate suspension?
Hello, I saw your new rig on RV trader. What a beauty and a deal! Congrats. I have found that high tire pressure and no load will make most truck suspension feel harsh. Running your tires at the maximum inflation pressure will help mileage on the open road but will rattle the rig like heck on a wash...

It is possible if the tank is more then 80% full and in the sun for the pressure relief valve to pop off until the pressure in the tank is lowered. If the tank is in the sun, shade it with some cardboard. If in is just from 85 degree weather the tank is way overfilled.

Hello, a castellated nut would work if the cotter key hole is lined up in a cut out on the nut when the ball is fully tightened. Wheel bearings are never fully tightened which gives you wiggle room. My 2 cents

Re: Curtains and Other Improvements to Living
Very nice job on the curtains! Making curtains is not as easy as one may think. Our Chinook came out in 72 with curtains and also ties to hold them in place when open. The ties are very helpful when driving with the windows open.

Re: sewer smell in cabin
Hello, the smell may be because your P-traps do not have water in them. The sink and shower P-traps will allow the smell to vent into the living area if empty. Hope it's that simple.
