Re: New Fuel Pump
Yeah, if it was going to happen, it picked the right time and place for it. A couple months prior I did a 1200 mile trip with most of it being in the West Va mountains. I would have been really stranded on some of the roads I was on. Also, it would have cost a lot more if it happened around my house...

Re: Faqntastic Fan Upgrade Options
At this point i have taken the switch out of one fan so many times due to poor ground causing issues that the plastic threads are now stripped so i had to JB weld it in place. Needless to say the replacement will be a base model or a Maxx Air fan. I went with the MaxxAir and love it. Much quieter a...

Re: IKEA Interior Remodel
Took the 5hr drive yesterday and dropped the camper off in VA at Fast Eddies Auto Body. Decided to go with Eddie since he already resprayed a fellow Chinook owner Skillet’s rig last year and because the price was great! For 5k he is not only respraying the chinook, he’s also going to clean the fram...

New Fuel Pump
Got myself a new fuel pump last week. On the way back from a Ham Festival in North Carolina (not Yam), I was North on 95 just miles from the Virginia border. Suddenly it was like I lost all my fuel as it just died on me, but the electrical was still working. I drifted to the shoulder and did some Go...

Re: TPMS
I have a Tireminder A1A purchased through a member here at a very good price. I can recommend the brand as it's been working flawlessly. Skill; Still feel the same way about your TPM system? Sorry, been away from the forum for a while and am just reading this. Yup, still happy with zero complaints....

Re: 30 amp Hookup at Home
Skillet, how much your electrician charge you on the install? I can do most of it myself, but decided to get a C10 electrician to do it due to requirement of a rebate program that I can take advantage of. As a Californian, I want to thank all of your tax dollars. :D $100 for the total job. Since he...

Re: Curious... any previous Chinook employees out there?
When I went to the Hershey, Pa RV show a year or two ago (when they were showing off the new Chinook line in the van form) one of the guys I spoke with said he was a salesman for Chinook back in the day. He said he lurks on Chinook forums and he suspects others might too but they don't announce them...

Re: Tabor City, NC Yam Festival
Only one place was serving a cooked yam. I was expecting it to be like a bacon-fest where it's put in everything that you could try or buy. That's a yam with cinnamon butter. Me and Tommy Tater. He's beloved by the citizens and had been playing that role for 15yrs. Choice parking spot right at the f...
