Re: Kept the couch and added an aisle
Part two. Sorry about the pictures not posted correctly. We store our pillows behind the backrest during the day. It’s not top shelf workmanship but it’s a simple plan ( what took me so long? ) and I haven’t used any Alabama chrome.

Kept the couch and added an aisle
This is how we did it. Removed the screws which connects the couch backrest to metal brackets that allow the couch to open and close. The backrest is now free to move around and help create a daytime couch and a wider bed for sleeping. We covered the brackets with pipe insulation. While traveling, p...

Re: Those hubcup covers
Versa-liner by Dicor has been sold to Kaper Industries earlier this year. If you need ‘ jam nuts ‘ to keep the covers on or just a few extra to carry with you, here’s their new telephone number: 800-336-2011. Go through all the automated choices and try to find Leslie, sales manager. She’s was very ...

Re: How many miles do you have on your engine?
I thought I would give an update on the tread I started many miles ago. I bought the Chinnok with 41k miles and I now have 93k with no issues other than routine maintenance. It has never left us stranded. Never failed to make it up that mountain. According to my scan gauge, while running about 63 mp...

Name your top three rides in your Chinook
Only three? Difficult isn’t it? Here’s mine in no particular order. 1. Cherokee, North Carolina to Front Royal, Virginia via the Blue Ridge parkway and Skyline Drive. 2. Banff, Alberta Canada to Jasper, Alberta Canada via the Icefields Parkway. 3. Hwy 101/US 1 from Northern California to Sequim, Was...

Re: Anyone use truck wash?
I’ve used the truck wash at two different Flying J’s and was happy with both jobs. Both places had two workers with soap brushes, ladders and water hoses go at it while I watched. That said, I do a better job at home, but for getting the bugs off while traveling, $35-40 isn’t bad. I also spray at se...

How to post pictures correctly?
How do I upload photos from my iPhone to this website with the photos appearing correctly and not sideways? On my desktop I could correct the view, but I haven’t figured it out using my iPhone.
Any suggestions?
I’m off to Jasper National Park.

Shawshank Redemption 25th anniversary
Ever since watching this movie I’ve wanted to tour the prison in Mansfield, Ohio to view the architecture. I’ve been to a few movie locations and it’s interesting to see the difference between real life and film. I found the bench Forest Gump sat on in Savanna. The telephone booth that Harrison Ford...

After 18 months and 34k miles...
we finally moved into a house with no wheels. Since October of 2017 we’ve crisscrossed our country four times in our 1999 Concourse and the Ford V10 ran flawlessly. What a beautiful country we have. Yes Blue-Go, I’ve run from room to room in the new house. I was unloading boxes of ‘ stuff ‘ which I ...
