Re: 2003 Chinook Front Driving lLights under bumper
My Premier didn't come with driving lights but it has a switch for them on the overhead console. Does anyone know if that switch actually connects to wiring that would allow me to plug in replacement driving lights at the front bumper?

Summo Springs
Hi - anyone have any experience with Summo Springs? They claim to reduce sway and eliminate bottoming out.

Re: Tips for travel to Alaska
Hi all - just back from a 3 week trip to Alaska and back, just over 8,300 miles. Here are some tips I'd like to share for those who are thinking of going there. 1. Stop thinking about it and do it. This was the trip of a lifetime and its impossible to overstate how vast and spectacular the scenery i...

Re: Four Corner area trip planning
Echoing what Rooney said, Chaco Canyon and Canyon de Chelly are two really great places to visit. For Canyon de Chelly the only way to see the cliff dwellings up close is to take a tour. Some tours are group things on a large military truck but I recommend getting one of the many Navajo guides who w...

Re: Concourse for touring?
Hey Snap - the only limitation I can think of is the relatively small size of the holding tanks; However, most campgrounds and RVs have dump stations so other than having to do that nasty chore more frequently I can't think of any other reason that would limit your time on the road. I pulled out the...

Re: Replace refrigerator 2000 Concourse
Echoing Blue's comment about useable capacity of a Vitrifrigo vs. a Dometic 3 way fridge. The original Dometic had 6 cubic feet inside while the Vitrifrigo has 8.3 cubic feet. In addition, the unit is deeper so it allows for larger items than the Dometic, which has the "Pachinco" machine i...

Re: Replace refrigerator 2000 Concourse
Hi BT - when I replaced my Dometic with a Vitrifrigo the RV shop took out the passenger side window over the dinette to remove and replace the fridges. I hadn't heard about this latest Dometic recall but I'm with Blue on going all electric. Never liked the idea of an open flame running all the time ...
Re: Alaska
We'll be in Anchorage for 3 nights so hopefully we'll have time to check out the glacier. We looked at a flight that would land on a glacier but decided to do the Denali flight instead so having a glacier that's accessible will be great. Really excited to be headed to Alaska - been wanting to go the...
Re: Alaska
Hi Chin_k - Thanks for the info. We are going to be in Denali one day before the Savage River campground opens so we'll be at Riley Creek instead. After watching some YouTube videos and reading your review I think we've decided to take the "un-narrated" tour and will probably do the one th...
