We are missing just the fold down bottom step on our Chinook Concourse. The main step is there. Does any one know where we can find one? Ty.
Hi dsh,

Have you tried http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-s ... -parts.htm
I've never used them but, they come highly recommended.

Re: Hooking Inverter to House Batteries to charge while driv

I've been thinking about what I think might be a fiendishly clever solution to something that has been annoying me. Namely, carrying around a 180# generator in my best outside storage locker when I use it about ten minutes per month, on average. But I DO have a few tasks I like to use it for. These...

Electric step, disassemble & reassemble (anyone done this)

Took the RV out for a spin, the first time in months due to health related problems. I parked in a grocery store lot and when I came out, I was told that someone towing a bobcat on a trailer may have scratched my bumper or the rear step. Of course the driver didn't wait around and was nowhere to be ...

Re: water on inside back step

The back door has been resealed and roof has been checked. Yes, I over filled the water tank but it has since been drained and rv dried out. It is parked on a 20 degree slant to the back and it occurs when it rains. No sign of water anyplace else. Any ideas? Check for a leak around the Fantastic Fa...

Re: Onan carb replacement

Onan wanted $249.00 when I went there. If I could find one for $102 I'd buy it and carry it for a backup. Where are you located? I bought mine from the Onan distributor in West Palm Beach. Of course, you need to use a little social engineering in order to get the best price on items like this. A co...

Re: Onan carb replacement

On another thread I mentioned I was going to replace the carb on my Onan generator. We bought our Chinook from a relative who purchased it new in 2004 and sold it to us in 2012 with 15K miles, so it spent most of its time sitting and hence the generator was never exercised as it should be. The gene...

Re: New member in Las Vegas NV

Nice pictures and welcome to the group. Very nice looking Premier there. If you do decide it's too small for you, drop me a line. I would be very interested in a bit smaller Chinook. I feel my Chinook Destiny is just a little bigger than what I would really prefer.

Re: Original Solar Panels

Oh well I was hoping, I could avoid the panels overhanging my roof, as my luck has not been the best with tree branches. We sold our class C because of a piece of a Sequoia that fell and decided to eat the corner of our overhead sleeping compartment. As always, thanks for being so generous with both...

Original Solar Panels

Does anyone have an original data sheet on the original 50 or 55 watt panels that came on these vehicles. I'm just wondering what the specs are and if that panel could be used in some way with a set of Renogy Eclipse 100 watt panels. In my case, the original sits in the center of the cab roof. If it...

Re: Check Engine light-code #P0401

Anyone having problems with check engine light? I've replaced EGR valve, EGR sensor & checked the two hoses for leaks. I've reset the light but keeps coming on after about 100 miles. A lot of information to be found here: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2...
