Re: Chinooks seen on the road
I was in Moab, UT this week (5/21-5/23) without the rig. I happened across 2 Chinooks while there. Didn't get any pics but one was in the Sand Flats Recreation Area campground (90's model concourse) and another was an 80's model 18+ that I can't specifically remember the location. I didn't get to st...

Re: Super dually's on Chinook
I haven't tried super singles, but for my situation, I think I'll avoid them. I do mostly boondocking in the desert (Moab, etc.). I can see the advantage of having more off road ability however one major hesitation will keep me from ever switching to singles. I had a rear blowout at 70 mph on the in...

Re: foldout couch bed leans too much
That's how the dinette layout works to give you a king size bed. Pull out the couch, lower the table, slide the dinette cushions over slightly to bridge the gap. Heads on the couch and feet on the dinette. That being said, we don't sleep that way. We make the king size bed and sleep on it sideways, ...

Re: toilet paper unrolls while traveling
SUPER ANNOYING!
I have that exact same problem. It unrolls every time we go somewhere. I've done the bungee cord thing and it works. I've been meaning to get one of the toilet paper holders with the cover, but I keep forgetting until we're on the road.

Re: foldout couch bed leans too much
When we got ours, I kept getting annoyed that the sofa leaned toward the aisle. My plan was to get 2 hockey pucks, drill holes in them and use them as spacers on two of the four bolts that hold the sofa down. After getting under the RV and beginning to loosen the first bolt by myself while the top (...

Re: OEM Seat Belt mounting methods?
nope. It's a bit ridiculous. The seatbelts are anchored with heavy duty bolts to the plywood box that makes the dinette bench which (as referenced above) are merely held in by wood screws. Hence my child safety seat issues. That's why I'm thinking that I'll mount the seat in the cab between the driv...

Re: OEM Seat Belt mounting methods?
On my rig, the rear dinette seat is sitting on top of the wheel well, but there are no screws holding it in the downward direction. It has wood screws holding it to the oven/stove cabinet through it's back and wood screws into the RV wall. I should say that the PO extended the dinette by shortening ...

Re: mirrors
Premiers and Concourses came with different model mirrors. Also, I think they may have changed with model years. What year and model is your rig? Maybe a pic could help too. I'm sure someone will be able to help once they see what we're working with.
