Re: RV Cover
Alan, is your Concourse a 24-footer or a 21-footer? Glad to hear it's done the job for you without having to shell out a whole lot of dough.
Is the cover's roof made of a different color material, maybe more of a multilayer fiber poly for strength?

Re: RV Cover
I'm into my 3rd year with Expedition (108x105x294) for $240.00 from Amazon. Still looks new, even through the New Hampshire winters. The only regret is that I should have bought the next size down. Also, retiredtm, was yours the regular Expedition model or the S2 Expedition? You mentioned above tha...

Re: RV Cover
[quote="kyidletime"]Hi Larry, I don't know whether you're still looking for a cover, but I got one for my 1995 Concourse through EBay. It is by Expedition and is reasonably priced. I can't swear how long it will last but it seems to be pretty well made. The one that I ordered could have be...

Re: Shore power AC, wattage use, and battery charging
Great info all in one place. Thanks a bunch. I'd read some about this in the manual but it hadn't all come together for a greater understanding.

Shore power AC, wattage use, and battery charging
I've got a few questions regarding our 2002 Destiny. We've been on a few enjoyable trips with it in about six months' ownership of it. I'm wondering about some electrical angles. 1) While on shore power, are the coach batteries being charged? 2) Does it matter, in this situation, whether the coach b...

Re: Chinook Destiny elect space heater
That's great news, and with the use of a good-sized electric space heater. With most if not all of these Chinooks being 30-ampers, I wasn't sure how many watts could be used in isolation (with nothing else significant using AC shore power at the same time). Our unit is winterized but since it's at h...

Re: RV Cover
Thanks, I wondered about the quality of those. Some appear to be of similar material and design as those sold at rv supply stores.
Was it totally poly or contain some fabric for strength and durability? I'll check out the link.

Chinook Destiny elect space heater
I've been thinking about using a small electric space heater in my Chinook, 110 v style. Many of these are rated 1000-1500 watts. Using shore power, would these ratings work ok in this rv?
