Re: Extended valve stems for DRW (dual rear wheel) rigs.
Thanks, Blue. I just saw your note. I have a call in to Borg and hope they can help. Update edit: I just got a call back from the new occupant of the Tire Man shop. Chuck died about six months ago. The caller said she thinks Chuck sold the patent to his valve stems to someone else. Maybe that was Bo...

Re: Extended valve stems for DRW (dual rear wheel) rigs.
Looks like Chuck and Sue are out of business at Tire Man in Ridgecrest. Their web site is still up, but the email doesn't work, the phones don't work, and it appears the business is now called the Automotive Physician. I'm not sure he does tires or valves.

Re: Extended valve stems for DRW (dual rear wheel) rigs.
Hi, Blue. The link to the Tireman product you mentioned in your post no longer works. Before I order the correct stem extenders for my 1998 Concourse, I would like to verify the product number. You mentioned in your post it was kit #2. Here is the link to kit #2 on Tireman's web site today. http://t...

Re: Rooftop storage
Thanks, Blue. I just found one on my local Craigslist. I'll see if it works, and let you know.

Rooftop storage
I've seen some Chinooks with white storage boxes located on the rear part of the roof. They're more square than a rocket box. I'd like to get one for my '98 Concourse but haven't been able to find one online. Were they an accessory Chinook offered back in the day? Does anyone know where I can find o...

Re: Rear-view camera
I'm not much of a DIYer, but I've decided to install a rear-view camera on my '98 Concourse. From Crutchfield, I ordered this camera https://www.crutchfield.com/p_707VT201MA/Boyo-VTB201MA.html, and this in-dash audio system that includes a monitor https://www.crutchfield.com/p_613DDX374B/Kenwood-DDX...

Re: New TV antenna
I did a forum search on the topic of RV TV antennas to see if anyone was using the inexpensive flat, indoor home antennas that have become popular with cable TV cord cutters. According to this report, it looks like they work pretty well, and are certainly easy to use, affordable, and don't take up s...

Re: Screen door 2000 concourse
I found a replacement for my lost screen door magnet at the local Ace Hardware store. It was in the cabinet hardware department. There were several to choose from. I found one very similar to the original shown in Blue-Go's photos. It's a little smaller and I attached it with metal screws instead of...

Re: Screen door 2000 concourse
Thanks, Blue. The photos really help. I'll start searching for a place where I can find a replacement part. In the meantime, here's the hole I'm trying to fill.

Re: Screen door 2000 concourse
You're right, Blue, I don't know what I'm looking for. I recently had the door re-screened and the magnets may have fallen off then. I'm not sure if the door maker would have replacement parts, nor do I know who made our screen doors. Your help is always appreciated.
