Re: Brand spanking new to the RV world-water connection ques

our Moen faucet needs a new filter cartridge (of course this model is discontinued...). The Moen faucets have a lifetime warranty. I did not realize that could apply to our obsolete cartridge faucet head when I called 800-289-6636 and ordered a replacement Pull-out Spout to screw onto the metal hos...

Good question and suggestion, it is in good condition, just dull and thirsty looking. Maybe if I treat it I won't have to paint it :D

Re: The Horror! aka Under my Ford Windshield Cowl

Blue, thanks for the 303 Protectant recommendation and info. It sounds like exactly what I need. Had heard that Armor-all isn't all that good, and I don't like it much, but did not know what to use instead.

Re: The Horror! aka Under my Ford Windshield Cowl

I'm not ready to remove the cowling to investigate under, but the top fins of mine look dull and dry. What is a good treatment to protect whatever it is made of? I have spray Armor All which would be much easier to put on than something wipe-on. Or should it be waxed along with the rest of the RV?

Here is another window upgrade https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRRNQNP/ref=cm_sw_r_fa_api_MJIQzbQBK20BQ It is a tinted window with a built-in shade on the inside. One reviewer mentioned installing it with the shade pulling up to give some privacy but still be able to see out. But the window is single p...

Re: fresh water tank

Like Ted said, using the pump is the fastest. I like to use use the outside shower to pump into a 5 gallon bucket and dump it on a thirsty shrub. To really get it empty put the driver front tire up on a block and open the petcock by the water pump to drain as much as possible of what's left.

Re: backup camera just black screen

My backup camera was factory installed, the monitor and controls are mounted on the visor, is Voyager model AOM561. It is wired to the vehicle battery, comes on automatically in reverse plus has a manual power button. I neglected to turn it off after manual use resulting in a dead battery, so it doe...

Re: Shore power

Thanks for the good info. Like the suggestion to switch off the charger to control that draw.
