New member and Maverick owner here.
Cheers!
Very nice, anything to get you out chasing powder is great. My Chinook lets me chase "trout" out here in East. Nothing better than waking up to subfreezin temps all warm and cozy:)

Re: Has anyone seen any of the new models?

Yes, I have seen them up close and personal and not impressed at all. Inside is like any other modern RV as is outside. like Sman says it has "little to nothing in common with the Classic Chinook".

Re: Owner's manual

I have had my 2001 since I think 2018, and I have never found a 2001 manual, I use the 2000 as it closest to my year. FWIW, everything seems the same.

Re: Humidity Solutions?

Re: Storage Box for Batteries

Bear, I like what you are doing and look forward to hearing how your electrical upgrade works out. I looked at doing same thing but costs were prohibitive, plus I recently got new A/C and didn't want to eat that cost. I elected to replaced two 6volt 220ah batteries weighing 144 lbs total with three ...

Not going or even know what it is, I did look it up and it does look interesting. If I lived on West coast I would try to visit.

Re: WTB 1999-2002 Chinook 4x4

Good luck, Baja's are pretty rare and rarely come up for sale, but when they do they are not cheap.

A 4wd conversion at one of the reputable shops will cost you roughly $25k, of course doing yourself saves big bucks if you can tackle it.
