what you call the steel rod that holds the door open?
what you call the steel rod that holds the door open?
I try to get a picture of the stainless steel rod that attaches to the back door, and has a corresponding rubber piece on the step. When the door opens, the rod will mate with the rubber piece, and keeps the door stay open. I look at the service and part list, but it is not there... anymore have a picture? I think there is a rubber piece on the rod that is missing on mine, since it does not stays in the rubber piece well.

Thank you for the info. The closest one I found is something like this from Camping World:
https://www.campingworld.com/metal-plun ... 49619.html
It is a plunger type, and the one I have seems to be complete, when I compare it to others on the web. I think I need to adjust mine, since the plunger is crooked, and may damage the door if I continue to use it as is.

The part number is DH605 as shown here: https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Door-H ... DH605.html You can also buy just the nylon holder at many places. (just Google DH605) and many choices appear. I measured mine to verify the steel rod is 2" long.

Thank you, Clay. The link you have is almost exactly like mine. I was suspecting there is a rubber collar around the steel rod, but looks like it is a bare metal rod, so mine should be fine, just need some adjustment. It will be great if the info is on the part list on the reference forum, but the file there is not complete.
