It looks really nice. Now at about $16,000 with less than a week to go.

Note that it is a 1997 Chinook SE shell riding on a 1996 Ford chassis with the 460 V8.

Definite bidding war, already a nice price at 20k for a low mileage v8,but if you want a se and are willing to pay,be interested to see where it ends up.One thing I have noticed is this seller, who posts extensive photos has a way of extracting good prices for his auctions, still lots of time till Sunday and plenty of activity on this item.

Looks like a nice rig. Would be a good buy in the low 20's. There was almost picture overload but better more than less.

Just an observation: I am surprised at the amount of rust on the propane tank being in California. Mine has lived outside in rainy Washington its whole life and hardly has any.

That's not just a better deal,it may be the best destiny I have seen baring the body damaged one a member here sold last year for 15k,but repairs to the fiberglass shell seem like they would be a pain,so this destiny deal gets the cake. Rooney

Craigslist scammers don't waste time unless I miss my guess, the same photos are used on a listing for 15,000

That seller did really good, even for a low mileage side entry.

Hmm... now how do I convert a rear entry...

I do believe you're right.

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/rvs/6010510731.html

Posted one day ago, probably after the auction ended.

Side note: it's listed in the original correct Portland OR area... but the scammer's 'texts only' phone number is probably for Portland ME. Coincidence? Or mistaken areacode lookup on their part, no doubt being unfamiliar with the US?

The chinook scammers on Craigslist, are and have been out of control for some time.....you are looking for a 'deal' on an rare item (side entry) obviously you realize others are also stalking the same item in a focused way (32k auction demonstrates that) so you realize you will have to 'jump' when an item comes up for sale at a good price (15k is not unreasonable I have seen v8 side entries at that price)One can only hope the 'intelligent chinook buyer' would well 'Beware '.

The only flaw here is why list it so obviously right after the eBay auction?
