I am selling my 1997 Chinook Premiere.Asking $16,000 OBO. It is 21 feet long. The vehicle has 159,000 miles on the original Ford Triton v10 6.8 liter engine, but I am confident that it has many more miles in it. I purchased this Chinook from the original owner, who completely babied it. I have a complete record of all maintenance and repairs showing that the vehicle was regularly serviced and well maintained.
I have put the last 1800 miles on it with no problems whatsoever. It is as solid as they come. Unfortunately, my circumstances have changed, and I am no longer able to keep it.
The high points:
-charging system works great: Onan generator, large solar panel, and I have boondocked for days without needing to fire up the generator.
- Water pump and all water related pieces and parts working well
- Microwave, stove ( three burner), fridge all good
- Remote power mirrors. A big help, especially when you are driving alone.
- T.V. and cable
- A/C rocks
- Fantastic fan is so effective at cooling the cab, and runs from the batteries
- Alarm system
- 16,000 BTU furnace
- outside shower
- power seats
- a big, roomy storage box mounted to the roof
- inside shower is the wand style
- Interior looks great. The upholstery has held up very well. It is a "vintage" blue color.
- Dinette and benches in good shape
- Tow hitch. I towed my tiny car behind it and forgot it was back there

The wheel covers (Hub caps) flew away somewhere between here and West Virginia, and only one remains. Also, the tires have a lot of miles on them. Spare is in good shape.
The side windows in the coach no longer lock, but I adapted a tiny curtain rod to make them stay closed while I'm driving.
The vehicle is a bit faded on the outside. I have owned it for about almost two years and I stored it outside.
I have an ad posted on Craigslist Boise, also.
Am asking 16,000 O.B.O.
