Just joined!
Re: Just joined!
Love the green…. almost looks like a fresh paint / clearcoat job. Then again, my perception is conditioned by exterior havoc wrought here in the southwest by the merciless Arizona sun. Are you the original owner? How many miles?? The community awaits…

Took ownership of this thing a couple of weeks ago. Well kept by previous owner(kept inside when not in use) with just over 30k. She's spotless inside and out!

Re: Just joined!
Welcome to Chinooking! Your rig looks great - especially the green.
One word of caution about this forum. There is so much great information on here and ideas for modifications that you'll be tempted to go "hog-wild" to add things. I was seduced by the forum and have already dropped over $10k into my unit in upgrades - covered the roof with solar panels, went to 2 6-volt AGMs totaling 300 amps, put in a 8.3 cubic foot 12/110 volt fridge, 300 watt inverter, upgraded my jackknife sofa and dinette with new upholstery and foam padding, replaced the front cab carpet and insulated the floor and engine doghouse with Dynamat. So reading this forum can be really costly!
But seriously, folks, I love everything I've done so far and am planning for more modifications this winter. If you have any questions just put them on the forum as these guys know a lot and are happy to help.

Welcome! It's amazing how many low mileage Chinooks show up. That one sure is shiny!
Hey, if you get a chance, would you please see if your drivers door jamb still has two paper labels giving the names and paint codes for your green stripes? We have them for teal, but I think yours is more of a green.
If it does, please post photos of them or the info on them, to help others
Thanks!
Kev

I will check this evening, and let you know what I find.

It looks more green to me than the ppg paint chips on the internet do.kdarling wrote:Welcome! It's amazing how many low mileage Chinooks show up. That one sure is shiny!
