Generator fuel usage
Last night was our first time 'dry camping'. We did it in a casino parking lot in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Great experience. Parking lot had no trees for shade. I started the generator at 0130 which powered the a/c and refrigerator for ten hours. I used 3.5-4.0 gallons of fuel. Wow! Much less than I expected. Staying again tonight in a casino parking area (which had another Chinook) and I will verify my fuel usage just to make sure my numbers aren't off. Plus it's free. Ha.
