Replace glass on rear door on my 1975 Concourse

Post by conk1975 »

Some knucklehead broke out the window on my 1975 Concourse in order to get inside and help himself to whatever he could carry. He hit two other rigs at the storage place. He left the TV and luckily the new stereo system with the retractable LCD screen. Needed it for my back up camera.

Anyway, on to my question. Has anyone replaced the glass on the rear entry door? It doesn’t look terribly difficult based on a cursory look. Since it is an older rig I am also looking for recommendations as far as purchasing the glass

Thanks

Hello, I am new to the site. Is the door window the stationary glass or the one that slides open?

Welcome to the forum. I don't understand your question. Which window? Can you post a pic?

I will try to post a picture later. Some vintage Chinook 18+ models had a door window that opens, it slides up. I don't if the 1975 Concourse does.

Okay, here is a picture of an early Chinook 18+ door window, this is the inside of the door. Is this the type of window you are looking for?
Sorry to here about the break in.
