I wonder if yours is really an '03 Concourse? A fair percentage of the Chinooks built are made on a Ford chassis of the previous year as compared to the Chinook year (I guess Ford's and Chinook's "years" didn't coincide). If that were the case you could have a 2003 Chinook that is titled as a 2002, because some states seem to do it that way (going by the chassis year vs. the Chinook year).

Or I'm completely off and 2002 had swoops (?)

Anyway.... yay! New-to-you Chinook! :D

My Chinook has a 1999 E350 chassis, but the registration goes by the Chinook, which is 2000, instead of the chassis.

[Edit] Nevermind, I was confused by the model year and the manufacture year. Sorry. It is 2000 by both Ford and Chinook.

Easy to check the chassis year... it's the tenth digit in the VIN, just before the H designating the Ford factory where all the 92+ were built.

His will actually be a number like 1 for 2001, instead of a letter code like pre turn of the century vehicles.

Tenth digit is "2" and it has swoops.
