Queen Mine - Teetering on the Brink

Post by Rokrover »

Time out from Chinook maintenance and refurbishment for a local overnight cruise. Queen Mine RV Park in Bisbee evokes fond memories of previous adventures there with our beautiful weimaraner, so we had to introduce our young schnauzer to the scene. The park literally teeters on the edge of an 800’ brink above the open cut Copper Queen Mine. No safe haven during an earthquake, methinks. It was another beautiful Arizona day as the pictures will attest.

Bisbee is someplace I think I would really enjoy visiting. Thanks for the mini-trip report!

PS: And yay for a new (or relatively new) doggie! I lost my canine bud nearly a decade ago, and just hadn't felt up to "replacing" him (as you can tell by the use of that word); but, now I'm starting to warm to the idea of a different/new/wonderful-even-if-not-the-same pup. I always enjoy hearing about Chinook pups (you, Chinookers Journey, and Skillet come immediately to mind)
