There is a fuse for the refrigerator circuit in the DC distribution panel (in the brown converter box under the sink, generally) you should check. When you open the breaker panel, the AC breakers are on the left side, and the DC fuses are on the right side. Here is a picture of the old Magnatek DC distribution panel:
Magnatek DC Section.jpg
The refrigerator wire is the big red wire in the middle, with a 20amp fuse above it. If your converter has been upgraded (hopefully it has been), the DC panel may look like this picture (fuses are removed from the panel in this picture, but would be placed above the wires like in the old circuit board):

or if your unit does not have a converter like this there may be a different DC fuse arrangement.

Thank you Clay! The pictures are so helpful. I really appreciate the time you took to help me figure this out.

I don't know what your particular fridge's controls look like, but can you tell us what you've tried setting them to?

(The controls above the refrigerator.)

Do any of its lights come on when you set the fridge to Automatic, DC, AC, etc?

Btw, thanks for this thread. Made me go out and look at my fridge and suddenly realize that its metal racks were looking a bit crusty and rusty in spots.

So I took them out, used a drill to wire brush them clean, then painted them with Krylon chrome spray.

Looking good again! :)

So....here's how to spend money without even trying.

The fridge...not working. Took it to an rv service guy this morning, he pulled the outside panel off and immediately noticed a disconnected wire.

OMG...I am too stupid to own this thing.

Anyway, he is going to "check it over" to make sure that is the problem and I will pick it up $100.00 later.

I am almost to embarrassed to tell the tale.

Yeah but WHY was the wire disconnected? Therein lies the real tale. Often the PO did it for reasons that only become clear later.

As for being stupid.. nope, this is how every one of us learned something new :)

Decades ago my clothes washer wouldn't drain. Although I was a pretty good car mechanic by then, I had no clue about appliances at the time, and si I called in a repairman... who instantly lifted the hinged top (what?!) and pulled out a sock stuck in the drain in the outer tub that I never realized existed. Incredibly easy once you saw it.

I groaned in dismay the same as you. But realized it was a $50 lesson I'd never forget :)

Yeah....I've had a few instances like this. Never the same appliance twice tho.

I want to thank all of you who took the time to help me diagnose the problem.

Isn't there a saying...."you can't fix stupid"?

I know how you feel. When I got my Chinook the check engine light wouldn't go out. I plugged in a reader and found it was the mass air flow sensor. I sprayed the cleaner in it, even removed a small, old, hornet's nest. Still couldn't reset it. Took it in for something else and asked them to look at it. $100 later found out it was unplugged...
