Remote LED switches and dimmers

Post by kdarling »

Blue, this is actually pointed at you, for easily adding a remote wall switch... that actually already looks like a real wall switch... for the bathroom light, without having to run wires :)

Bonus: dimmer, too!

Haven't ordered one yet myself, but hoping someone else will do so.

Funny you should post that today; just this morning I fished a wire (not "the" wire, but a fish wire made of the copper strand of a piece of #14 Romex), which I followed with a small piece of line as I plan to leave it there for awhile before I finish the job) over to where I will likely put a wall switch. I guess someone else will have to [s]guinea pig[/s] try this switch :D

'course, my wired switch is not successfully installed yet, so ... you never know.

PS: Manitou, any chance you would add the strike-through code? Looks like phpbb admin has to activate it to make it work (if it's not too time consuming, that is).
