Converter fan running

Post by deb »

Hello. Me again.

I am plugged in to shore power. My battery light on the cluster above drivers seat is on and is green. The panel over the dinette seat does not show a light indicating the batteries are charging. The converter fan is running. When I flip the breakers the fan goes off momentarily but restarts. When I unplug from shore power, I have no lights in the coach = no batteries, right? I checked the wet cell house batteries and some cells are wetter than others. Could this be the problem?

I have little to no experience with something like this and don't want to make a foolish, costly mistake due to ignorance....although it won't be the first time.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I unplugged the microwave and coffee pot. Batteries holding at 12.6 plugged in to shore power. I think it's all about the distilled water in the coach battery cells. As soon as I get to the store, I will refill them.

I got alot to learn.

It appears distilled water did the trick. Thank goodness!
