Adding generator to 1998 Premier

I am going to take a look at a '98 Premier for sale. It has never had a generator. If I buy I will need to install one.
Does anyone know does the gas tank have a second pickup for gen already installed? Any issues I should be aware of when adding a new generator? Is any of the wiring pre installed ie. feed to start switch, feed to converter?
