Toilet leak

Post by Gold »

Need advice. I have a constant drip from the fresh water inlet brass nut, under the flush valve.

Can it be tightened? You may need to take off the brass nut, and repack it well enough to stop the drip. Otherwise, if you feel the assembly is broken, you may want to get it replaced. The good thing is that you can stop the leak by shutting off the water pump... but it is a pain to have to turn it on everytimes when you need to use the faucet, etc.
