I have two nights starting tomorrow at Camden Hills. Then off to Acadia for a few days. Tonight we're in Boothbay.

I've been waiting for someone to post the brown paint codes too, mine have faded beyond reading. Good Oregon info, thanks!retiredtim wrote:Jeanie,
This is a little off from your topic but I have an identical Concourse and have been trying to find the paint codes. Mine have worn off and I need to touch up a few areas. retiredtim

Re: Off to Bar Harbor
Spent only two nights in Bar Harbor but really enjoyed the bus system and terrific views. We went to Moosehead Lake in upper Msine to look for a moose. Got a fast glimpse of one but not well enough to be considered a sighting. We went down more gravel roads to a bog which is a popular hangout for moose and tourists. Nothing but bugs. Really rough roads up there. Huge lake. Off to Vermont.

The harbor looks so inviting. Well, at least you've now had a moose "glimpsing" -- next perhaps a sighting

The ride from Maine through New Hampshire to Vermont was everything I imagined New England would look like. Villages founded in the late 1600's. What a tough group of people lived back then. I have to come back here in the fall to experience the colors. It must be amazing.

Re: Off to Bar Harbor
I've made it to New England and Bar Harbor and now I'm working my way back to South Carolina, so I'm ending my updates.
If I see something of interest along the way home I'll post it. I've got to return to see the foliage!

Glad someone got some use out of this "in progress" section
I suppose I should move it to th General trip talk once it's no longer "in progress".
