Anyone know why I get a beep (or two beeps, or even three) when I start the engine when the coach battery switch is turned ON?
Does not happen all the time, but fairly often.
Didn't used to do it
NO beep when starting if the coach battery switch is OFF.
Thanks in advance

Is it your LP gas detector? Near the sink?

No it's not from the gas sensor. It beeps right up front - sounds as though it's from the dashboard

Is it the same beep as when the LVD is about to go off (where you have to react or plug in within 30 seconds)? Maybe the coach batteries are inadvertently tied to the starter battery and getting a dip when you start. That could be a Sure Power switch problem, as well as perhaps a weak starting battery.Chinookers wrote:Anyone know why I get a beep (or two beeps, or even three) when I start the engine when the coach battery switch is turned ON?

I now get a few alarm peeps when I start mine, but it didn't start doing that until my house batteries were basically shot. In the past, when I've put in new batteries, that alarm has disappeared until I managed to ruin the new batteries (There's been a learning curve for me...) and then it comes back. It very distinctly sounds like it's coming from above my head, though, not from the dash, so it may not be the same thing.
