We were a whopping one month into ownership, went to an RV park on Lake Texoma in Oklahoma, and WHAMMO, one came right at me! I went and grabbed a spot, then tracked them down. They were more excited than we were, as they had owned theirs for three years, traveled extensively, and we were their third sighting. I guess we didn't know how blessed we were to see a unicorn that soon! Headed to the PCH in a week. Here's to finding another!

PCH? Like the one in the West Coast?

Anyway, I never see a Chinook in person, until I started looking for one. I found a nice 2001 Concourse, and the seller was a few miles away! I did not buy it from the gentleman due to issue with planning, but we saw one every few months. Then I noticed this Premier that parked on the side street that I drove pass everyday to work!

If...Chinook only made about 450 units a year from 2000 on until they quit and if you go back to my 1998 model and figure the same production numbers... then they only produced maybe 3600 units in 8 years!!! Break that down into how many were Concourses and who knows how rare they really are?!!! No darn wonder I have only seen one other and it was just 6 miles down the road from me and was a TWIN!! Same color and all!! Maybe FBI has a list of how many are registered in their data base!! On tv all they have to do is punch a button on a computer and they should ALL pop up!!

Just came back from Branson, saw 2 Chinooks, one a 25ft Summit, second one at Indian Point a concourse. First time that I have seen two in one day.

That's rad, not very often you get two concourse 4x4s side by side
