Woah...those things are heavy. Is the angle from the hitch mount sagging?

Re: Added a cargo carrier and KNAACK box
I was looking at a stowaway carrier for my Jeep and now that I have a Chinook, I can use between both:

Yours looks bigger, Is it loaded up and heavy, as eporter mentioned is it sagging?

Yes it began to lean... I’m getting the hitch welded for extra strength tomorrow!

Hey 68Camaro - does that stowaway setup have a long enough bar to clear the back steps on your Chinook? I like that its a lighter weight than the Knack box but wondered if it would work with a Chinook.

Don't have yet, and was wondering myself, I doubt it but I was thinking trailer place could build extension pretty easily. It's on project list to look into.

I have a side entry Chinook. I don’t think it’d work with a back Door Chinook.

I had a stowaway box on my Ford Falcon camper van. You can get it with a swing away arm. I liked it, but it’s too easy to break into. My KNAACK solved that issue. The welding I got done yesterday solved the issue with the weight of it. It’s all 100% good to go now!

With the weight of the spare tire and KNAACK, has ride quality been impacted at all?Hollis87 wrote: ↑August 5th, 2018, 3:15 pm I had a stowaway box on my Ford Falcon camper van. Re: Added a cargo carrier and KNAACK box
I have a Stowaway2 on my Glacier. The Stowaway standard cargo box, frame, and hitch extender weigh 72 pounds. I am currently carrying 66 pounds of cargo in the box. With a tongue weight of 500 pounds, and the hitch extender, I am limited to total weight on the hitch of 250 pounds. The cargo box, including frame, is limited to 250 pounds. Of course I am also limited to the gross vehicle weight rating and the axle weight ratings.
