Well, if you do not want to investigate about anything, then you can connect the blue wire terminal (labeled O/R, for over ride, in some of the documentation) to ground (white wire). Please confirm with the documention on the Reference section since I am going from memory. It is strongly suggested by the manufacter not to do that for obvious reason, but if it helps with your marriage, then you can do this.
