Re-sealing entry door around frame

Hello group-
Just curious as to what anyone has used to reseal around the entry door frame. Not the door in the frame, but the seal where the frame mates to the fiberglass. It's starting to look old and crumbly, and I just want to get ahead of it.

I would think, ultimately, you take the whole thing off and put new butyl tape in there, then reinstall. I did this with with the side entry and had to drill out rivets, so am hoping to avoid that.
