Battery disconnect

Post by Carolann22 »

I have taken house batteries out of my 2004 Concourse. Had a chassis battery disconnect installed. When the disconnect is used there are still overhead lights in the cab and lights on dash when I turn the key but it won’t start. Why are there still lights, the overhead power switch is off. Is there another batter kill switch under the hood?

You got a haunted Chinook?

Seriously, the only thing I can think of is the solar panel. Remove the 7.5A fuse on it and see if that will fix it.

I thought I had the house batteries out but I didn’t. My mistake but I. A girl and it’s ok to do stupid things like this.
Thanks anyway

Everybody makes the similar mistake. I ruined my beloved multimeter probes the other day from a silly oversight, for example. Glad that you find the issue.
