Replace/remove stove top exhaust fan

Post by terance13 »

I need to remove or replace this fan which would be easy, but ours has a display panel in it. Is this an OE unit? Anyone found a suitable replacement unit? If there isn't one and I desire to remove it, how do I keep the display panel? Thanks

Some people remove the wires and display of the panel, and relocate it to a different area nearby separate from the fan. The way you remove the panel face is to left the piece up (I use a scotch tape to stick to it and lift up the thin plastic face) and it will come out nicely when the tabs are out of the slots.

I think you can look for the detail instruction here on this forum.
