Seat swap

We have a 1977 Dodge Chinook Concourse. We would like to swap out the front seats with newer ones. They are old, stained, worn out and too soft. We especially want to change from lap belts only (seat belts) to full shoulder strap seat belts. Can we use seats and seat belts from 1980's Dodge trucks or vans? What years will work? Will they fit? or need to be modified? We have found many nice ones at Junk Yard/Pick part places.....just wondering what will work....Thanks.

Youre more likely to find that kind of information on ExpeditionPortal.com
You arent likely to find anything that is a direct bolt in other than original style seats. That means you will be fabbing brackets Etc... regardless of which seats you choose.

Look for seats that have the seat belts built into the seats such as the toyota sienna seats.
