Thanks that's some very good sleuthing!
My solution that I'm happy with now is that I just disconnected the J1 connection for the DC Element. As a full-time boondocker, I realized that using DC Power for the refrigerator is a very inefficient choice. It drains and damages coach batteries. So I have no plans to ever use it.
