Chin is correct, as usual—I went back and looked at my upgrade list, and it is the PD4645 that I installed…not the PD4655 I mentioned in my earlier post—apologies for any confusion.

Plugging in at home
Re: Plugging in at home
I just replaced my house batteries and I was in the process of changing the converter to a PD4645V. I took a picture of the wiring before starting then got called away for several days. My problem is I have a 96 Chinook and where the battery wires come in there is a gray wire that doesn't show up on my picture and I can't remember where it connected on the Magnetek 6345. Can anyone out there help? Also, does anyone know what the gray wire goes to?
Re: Plugging in at home
If there is only one wire, you should be able to find that by process of elimination, it is the 15A one to the LP detector.

Thanks Chin, I really appreciate your time and I will check that out. I also found a schematic that shows the 14ga. Grey wire connects to the positive side of the Battery terminal on the converter.

Here's what mine looks like in my 1987. The old one stage got tossed and this one installed. It wasn't that bad for an amateur like me.

Thanks again. I've been off the site for a while and came back to even more useful and important information about batteries and the life they lead. I'm taking notes. So far so good on my bats. When I need new ones, I've now got the info.
