Reminds me of few months ago in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, I got gas and noticed rear tire low in air, swung around to air pump and could not believe they wanted a $1.00 for air  Out of principal I refused to do it. Right then I remember I had a Viair 88P I keep along side spare tire. Pulled to side of building, hooked it up to battery and topped off all tires, only one other was tad low.

In my Jeep along with Viair 88P I keep ARB E-Z Deflator and a tire repair kit. I have seriously thought about removing spare altogether, in over 18 combined years with 350,000+ combined miles in a 2004 and a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Pirelli Scorpion AT tires I have never had a flat tire. Not sure why I still lug one around, aside from sidewall splitting I can do quick repair to most problems until I get to tire shop.

On Chinook I am thinking same thing, once I upgrade to AT tires, is spare necessary, with same tools as above, I can probably fix most flats. If I did have major blow-out to front tire could I just put one of duallie tires on front, put blown one on back and limp to town or repair shop?
