Well the trim came in and it fits like a glove!!! It literally couldn’t be any better of a fit! I have it all in place and realistically probably don’t even need to use adhesive on it if I didn’t want to haha. Need to do some final trimming and I will be using adhesive but just wanted to report back. Not sure why it fits so well on mine and didn’t on Caconcourse rig? Maybe since mine is a side entry it’s was constructed differently? Caconcourse, you mentioned it worked on the threshold since the “MDF Swelled” correct? The construction of my bath walls is all plywood, no MDF.

I'm really glad it worked for you. It looks like the side door construction may be different from the rear entry, since your bathroom door also opens "sideways" into the bathroom with respect to ours. The side wall (our kitchen wall) may be 1/2" plywood vs the 3/8" MDF on our doorway. In my case the threshold swelled at the door bottom, but not at the side walls, so the 1 1/8" trim was snug on the bottom but about 1/8" too wide on the sides and top. There is also an air gap between the fiberglass and the wood that may be tighter or looser on some units vs others just due to construction variances.

Looking good! With all the accessories and dark paint it is looking like a SWAT vehicle! ;)

Also had my buddy throw a car starter in the rig with keyless entry. I can now start/lock/unlock/track the car on my phone from any distance!

Wishing you the best as you two head out soon for life on the road! Tick tock! We will look for you if you make it to the Southwest this winter.

Rear bumper came out great, definitely an advantage of side entrance is ability to use the bumper area to make more functional.

Nice overall build, I hope to see it someday.

The best thing is the side entry model with permanent bed ☺
Would love a pic of the driver's side so most of us could relate to the new look.
Thanks for sharing 😎

We’re in the Southwest already haha. Best part of not having a hard timeline is plans can change. We’re just going with the flow, heading to CA now a week before we start really skiing.

Look out for us on the road
