Interesting - it's the bird one that's sideways for me too (in the last batch). It's always some but not all. I think X is posting from an iPhone or iPad so maybe that is it (not saying it is your fault though, X).

Thanks for upping the attachment number, Manitou. It's not so bad to start another reply for additional photos, but four will make that necessary less often.

I am using just an iPhone and iPad for my updates and I know the images are large because Airdrop transfers them that way. I may go back to emailing them to myself before posting.
Correction: The Cape Blanco Lighthouse is no longer the western most point of land, I was reading old literature. While touring the lighthouse I was told that once GPS started being used in the survey business, Cape Alava, Washington is the western most point of land in the lower 48. Maybe I’ll stop by there too.
One lighthouse keeper worked here for 43 years!

Views from the lighthouse grounds. Stopped in Coos Bay for the night.

More great pics. I always have enjoyed the Oregon Coast drive especially on a motorcycle.

The Washington and Oregon coasts are much different to drive. In Washington a main highway does not run the coastline. Many miles run through Indian Reservation land and have much less access especially through the Quinault and Makah Reservations.

From Coos Bay to Florence was nothing but sand dunes and dune buggies running all over the dunes. It looked like fun. Crossed another Conde McCullough bridge along the way. Stayed at Beachside State Park last night. Another nice Oregon State Park.

On the way to Cape Lookout State Park. Going north on Hwy 101 then via Cape Lookout Road is one twisty road going up in elevation and down to the campground, but what views!

Did these pictures view correctly or are they sideways? I emailed the pictures to myself on the last two posts. Their smaller in size.

All of the photos in the last two posts show up sideways for me except the next to the last one, which is right-side up. Is that all of the portrait ones sideways, and the one landscape one right-side up?

If I click to enlarge them, they are right-side up, but the thumbnails are sideways.

BG, On my cellphone I use the “ Photo “ selection most of the time. The third photo from yesterday’s post I held the phone/camera sideways to get a wider shot.

Another great sunset in Oregon. Off to one of the largest wooden structures in the world in Tillamook. Over three million board feet of lumber to build a blimp hanger. Good story about the Tillamook Naval Air Station during WWII. Over 1000 feet long, 198 ft tall and 298 feet wide. Nice air museum.
Off to Astoria tomorrow.

Been to the blimp hanger and it is very impressive. Thanks again for including us on your journey.
(Did you get to the other museum to see the Spruce Goose?)
