Been really busy so not much progress on the build. I did get all the upper fronts on and the closet door as well. Next step is to drill the new push button handle/lock. Then try to finish up the kitchen side, just waiting on the new sink.

Just got back from a weekend in the White Mountains National Forests and decided to install the new LED lights I ordered. So much better!

I switched out all the bulbs in our Premier to LED. The ones over the couch and table are the softer light and the others the less expensive brighter ones.

FWIW My wife and I have never been to New England but are hoping to in the next few years now that we are retired.

SMan,
What a difference it makes! The ones I ordered are bright, but it has a rocker switch so you have the option to only turn one side on for a softer light.
NE is nice, grew up here my whole life(29yrs) so I'm not as big a fan, but for someone who has never been I would suggest coming in the fall, best time of year in my opinion.

I love having the LED lighting to reduce battery drain. Prices are coming down as well.

Our plan is to come during the fall for the colors as so many have suggested. We've been to all the states west of the Mississippi and a few east but not so much on the east coast.

Did you remove the fluorescents and use the wires for this new light or do something different? It all looks great!

I removed the whole light assembly, which had already been retrofitted with led strips that didn't work that good, and installed the LED light. Took no time at all, connect the two wires and your done. Bought the lights off eBay, 5 lights for $60. Need two more for the bed area and I'm done!
