possible upgrades for you.
1) take out the battery slide tray and replace with 3 batteries in that compartment that currently only holds 2
2) change out the charger for the progressive dynamics retro fit one (3 or 4 stage charging vs 1)
3) Dinosaur company control module retro fit for the fridge
Always up to you of course, but I chose to do these as time/money permitted and didn't regret any of them. (all issues I was having related to the original equipment went away)
Oh and that solenoid died twice on me. I think there is an expensive solid state one available these days, but it was pretty pricey too.

Hey, I've been busy going thru my Rigs getting it set up. I was able to get the Refrigerator straightened out by replacing the board with a new one by Dinasour .The Fridge really works Great and I'm making Ice on the Mid#3 setting.
I wasn't Completly confident with the Grabber AT2s that came on my rig. I could feel the side walls Flex and the ride felt soft all around . I went with some new 265/70/16 BFG AT2's. I've Never have regretted running BFG's on any of my Jeeps or Trucks.
I also contacted Agile Off-road and picked up a set of their 2.0 Agile Offroad Tuned Shocks to replace the Rancho shocks that it came with.
While I was under it I realized that I had a Fox 2.0 steering stabilized left over from my Rubicon. So I bolted that in as well.
Now I can Honestly say "My Chinook is The Sports Car of Rv's let alone a 4x6 Powerstroke Beast !
I had a Great Weekend Test Driving thru Death Valleys Saline Valley this weekend ! My Girl our 3 Dogs and myself all had a Wonderfull time.

Great pics! Good to hear the BFGs are working well. That's a good option for a E-rated tire, I put 4 on my old ambo and it drove great. I've been thinking about them again for the Chinook. Were your Grabbers E rated?

I think that the Grabbers had a load rating of 2400lbs at 44lbs air . The BFG's are a 10 ply LT tire rated at 3400 lbs at 70lbs of air(Approx) .
The Grabbbers felt "Soft " when going thru winding roads or entering driveways ect . The RV felt like it was wallowing around .
I did both the BFG's and the Agile offRoad Tuned FOX Shocks at basically the same time . So I'm not sure what upgrade gave me the Best results ? But I can say" The Combination Really made a Huge Difference in the Handling of my Rig" !
Its Super Tight now and I don't have to worry about my Dogs getting tossed around in back just pulling into a parking lot !

Manitou; Did you happen to have a model number for the Progressive Dynamics charger that was a retrofit mentioned above?
