Chin_k, we aren't sure if the cork is lighter than vinyl planks. We shaved off a lot of weight by replacing the dinette, though. We love how soft and warm cork is.

I was just wondering how the cork floor is holding up? Thinking about doing this but every cork supplier I ask about cork flooring in an rv tells me it won’t hold up to the extreme temperature swings when its in storage (I live in Tucson so 110 in summer and high 30’s in winter)
