Absolutely agree. If the new Chinook looked like this with a diesel engine or the new Gorilla V-8 ford engine they wouldnt be able to keep them on the lot. Personally i cant even think of a word to describe what the new Chinook looks like.... its just silly looking, like no real thought was put into designing the exterior of the vehicle beyond just a box.

I have some pics of this unit when I ran into this Chinook a few years ago at a local lunch spot. Pretty impressive. It was built in Orange California Here are some pics....

I searched for months for a chinook. Never saw one anywhere near me where I live in Chardon, Ohio (east of Cleveland). A couple of weeks after I buy mine in South Carolina, yesterday I spot a Chinook Concourse parked at a mobile home park 2 minutes from my house in Chardon. Anybody on here camped out in Chardon, Ohio?

Ok I thought i would pass these pics on. I went to San Francisco and bought this truck and then traveled to Richland Or to remove the camper body and installed on the truck and drove west of Seattle. Unfortunately the unit was way worse that described but i am still planning on the rebuild. Looks to be a 1400 chassis mount unit.I installed it on a 2000 f-550 7.3 zf 6. All of this was done in 3 days.
