Reminds me of few months ago in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, I got gas and noticed rear tire low in air, swung around to air pump and could not believe they wanted a $1.00 for airBlue~Go wrote: March 29th, 2018, 3:38 pm And if I never use a gas station air dispenser again I will not be the least bit unhappy.
In my Jeep along with Viair 88P I keep ARB E-Z Deflator and a tire repair kit. I have seriously thought about removing spare altogether, in over 18 combined years with 350,000+ combined miles in a 2004 and a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Pirelli Scorpion AT tires I have never had a flat tire. Not sure why I still lug one around, aside from sidewall splitting I can do quick repair to most problems until I get to tire shop.
On Chinook I am thinking same thing, once I upgrade to AT tires, is spare necessary, with same tools as above, I can probably fix most flats. If I did have major blow-out to front tire could I just put one of duallie tires on front, put blown one on back and limp to town or repair shop?
