Been going through the rig finding stuff in drawers and cubbies.
Found this Ford part.
Does anyone know what it goes to?

looks like a fuse/relay cover for the aux distribution panel that holds the trailer lighting fuses. is there any fuses/relays visible under the hood? if so see if that cover fits over it.

Ooh, good one. I don't recognize it. Is one of those little numbers a part number you could Google? I find there is usually on one a Ford piece. Oftentimes they start with something like FDUZ or the like.

There is a ford part number under the Ford label. I can't read it well, but it looks like some kind of cover like sm350bl said.

Most of the times on pieces like that, I find its just an engineering number and not the true part number.

Certainly does look like something that would click into place and cover something else. As mentioned, I'd check under the hood (maybe near the big fuse block there) or under the dash. Would be nice if someone just recognized it though!

According to the following page that I found with the id/part/engineering number on it, it is a fuse box cover, like one of you guys guessed.

Here is the comparison:

Since I had time today, I punched in the number seen under the Ford logo on eBay, and sure enough it’s a cabin fuse box cover.
I tried putting it back in, but there is so much wiring harness stuff under there that it’s hard to do. Leaving it out won’t harm anything, but I jammed it under some wires so it doesn’t get lost.

That's too funny. I've had that thing off and on any number of times, but didn't recognize it. For some reason the photo had me thinking it was like 2" square, which is much smaller than the fuse box cover.
I might be thinking of something from my Blue Sea house bus, but I think there might be a set of clips on the front side for holding a pair of those fuse tweezers.
I have had to curse a couple of times getting it to clip back on just right, so maybe that's why it was in a drawer. Or maybe someone added some fuse taps and then it wouldn't fit?
