Chinook RV

We have recently purchased a 1999 Chinook Concourse with a Quigley 4x4 conversion. 95K miles, very good conditions.
We are planning (next year) to travel from the US to Central and (possibly) South America. Based on your experiences which are the most recommended modifications/upgrades for that kind of travel?

i am rebuilding a 2001 chinook concourse, i have gone full battery, 6 battleborn lithium, and weldtec full suspension Baja Grocery gettery front and rear. Next will tackle the interior, new fridge, ISO THERM 115 so my thoughts of what i have done,,good luck happy travels.
