We have had our 2004 Chinook Concourse for two years and have yet to figure out how to get the roller in the Oceanair Dryroll!!! Is there any trick?

Hmm, interesting. My year Chinook didn't come with the built in OceanAir (it just had a sticky-outy TP holder on the door), but I have since bought one because I thought it looked really slick. However, I have not installed it. I would simply have assumed I could get the roller in and out! (Not unreasonable... right? :D ).

I don't have it with me at the moment to try fiddling with, darnit.

So, I decided to check out the mfgr. website:

http://www.oceanair.co.uk/marine/produc ... -protector

Ha, they have a "technical data" link for the TP holder (why does that strike me funny? ) Plus, "Automatic paper delivery and rewind."

But nothing I could find on how to change the roller, but there is an "Ask a Question" link so maybe drop them a line? (I would but since I have never even tried to operate the product and don't have it on hand it probably wouldn't go so well.)

On the other hand, surely someone else with a Chinook has already changed the roll at least once and can explain it.

I really thought it was me but we'll see! I already did send an inquiry to OceanAir a few days ago. No response yet.

Using suggestions and pictures from two members of another Chinook RV Forum I was able to better understand how the Dryroll works and then determined what I was doing wrong! Basucally I was trying to line up the gears when it was open when the solution was to install at the lowest point when open.
