I'm curious how that lifted it? Reason I ask is that I put on an entire new 2014 E-350 front end (minus springs, wheels, and I already had new shocks), and it stayed at stock ride height (which was fine with me).

Was your lift separate? Or was it late model from something else?

Looks good Dougm! Very similar to my set up although I’m not running a swaybar at all up front :D

Both your vehicles look badass! More tough and off-road looking.

Do you guys think you could possibly post your parts list, with notes of issues and design choices?

This sort of thing is something I might be interested in (I've bottomed out by accident more than once and even had to back up a small street in Rhode Island because it came out to the main road on a downhill angle that was too much), except it is just plain beyond me. I'm good with electrical, plumbing, coach stuff, but vehicle stuff is more difficult for me, just too much learning curve. I've been burned many times now by shops, where I later learned enough to know what they did wrong or skipped checking.

Thanks,
Bob

I don't have a lifted Chinook, but if I were on the East Coast I'd be getting in touch with (or at least checking the website of) U-Joint Offroad. Good owner/people and they have converted a number of Ford based Class-C's to 4WD/lift. (Their focus is vans.) I'm not sure if they "only" do lifts, but I do know they sell kits as well as do conversions at their shop. From what I can tell, solid business as well as 4WD knowledge (and the former seems to be where some people starting a business doing what they love have issues). They have a website with photos and etc.

They do some great work. Even if you're not on the east coast, you can buy their kits and have it installed anywhere.

Their instagram has some great van / Class C porn: https://www.instagram.com/ujointoffroad/?hl=en
