Posting this in case there is someone on the forum that is looking......I came across this ad in CL a week or so ago. Thought it might be one of those SPAM ads but I called and talked to the current owner that is selling it. He is actually an RV buyer/seller and had picked this one up locally in DFW area (according to him). I happened to have a business meeting that came up in Plano so I coordinated an appointment to go take a look. It is in decent shape for a 2001, mileage a little high but not excessive for the age. When he got there he had another couple looking at it so I just took a quick look around and did not want to impede on their tour and inspection. After my cursory look around, I decided it was not something Ms Tejun would be happy with so I departed. His price was $15,500 when I first saw the ad. He has now come down to $13,500 so it appears he is trying to move it our of his inventory. Observations from my look-see:
- Generator was running and he had the rooftop AC on. It was definitely cool in the coach but the AC was vibrating pretty loudly.
- Engine seemed to run smoothly (I did not get a chance to look under the hood.
- Cabinets all looked good inside
- Toilet area was very clean
- Frig looked to be in ok shape but was not on at the time.
- All the tires looked great
- Fiberglass looked good with a few areas of sun fade
Thats about all I can say on it.

2001 Chinook Concourse For Sale in Dallas
Re: 2001 Chinook Concourse For Sale in Dallas
Price is a steal even if only most things check out. For that price if I was local I would buy and flip.

I actually thought it was a scammer (as there are so many in CL). If I were retired, I’d have bought it for a good project to do some TLC repairs and updates then sell (or not). I’ve got Beaucoup projects in various forms of completion right now (including a bathroom remodel going on 3 yrs) and don’t really need another one. Figured I post it on here and let everyone know the pics are accurate as is the price real.68camaro wrote: July 19th, 2019, 1:23 pm Price is a steal even if only most things check out. Odd, I emailed about that ad a while back because there was no phone number. I wonder if it's still available. Could be pretty great for me.

Wow, that really does look like every scam ad out there. Price seems great for the miles and year. That would probably go for 20k no prob. up here in the NW. You could buy that, enjoy for the summer, then just make a more legit ad and easily come out ahead.

After seeing Manitou's post, I thought I remembered there being a phone number on the ad but when I checked the current ad there was not. I sent him a text yesterday and asked if the Chinook was still for sale and he did not respond, so not sure what the situation is now.

I do see the phone number, and it matches the one above.

I never called him. I've been crazy busy at work and I'm not in Texas. Someone should jump on it though.

Ad shows it's been removed by owner, which usually means it got sold.
