Vent under closet door
Vent under closet door
What is the purpose of this brown vent in a 2001 Chinook Concourse?

Thank you. Is heat supposed to come out of it like the two under the dinette seat on the passenger side?
Re: Vent under closet door
Yes, but it is a thin un-insulated 3" (or was it 2"?) hose that goes along the outer wall behind the dinette and fridge to get to the closet. So by the time it comes out the closet it will be a light breeze and barely warm if it is truly cold outside. I closed off the vent that aims for the back of the front passenger seat, which pushed a bit more through the closet (but not much). I have no idea why they ran it un-insulated (at least in my 2000 Concourse with 'arctic foam' insulation that is maybe 1/2" on the outer walls, and doesn't do much to help that hose stay warm).

Thank you Bob. We will try that!
