Any opinions?
Re: Any opinions?
Looks good but needs good hands on. Look at lower wood work for water damage, as well has ceiling edges. Inside cabinets....etc. let us know how it turns out.
One of the nice things about the Chinooks is they were made way better than anything rolling off production line today, plus any kinks should have been worked out a long time ago. Whenever I go into a new coach or camper i am surprised how flimsly components are compared to My 2001.
Good luck

Re: Any opinions?
I thought the Summit has two slides. Or maybe the second slide was an option? Price sure seems right. Definitely do a thorough inspection.

Not too familiar with these big boys, but I think Summit has a slideout where the queen bed is, and this one seem to have two twins in the back, no slideout. Maybe a different mode? Or maybe a different configuration of Summit? No clue.FatBuoy wrote: July 8th, 2020, 7:42 am I thought the Summit has two slides. Or maybe the second slide was an option? Price sure seems right. Re: Any opinions?
May not matter but they are advertising it as a 2005 model...the sticker read January 2004 so it may very well be exactly the same as a 2003 model??

Re: Any opinions?
That sticker is for the VIN of the vehicle chassis from Ford. It's my understanding Chinook dated their coaches with the model year of completion. This is a common practice in the RV industry.
FWIW My 2004 Chinook Premier has a 2003 Manufacture date from Ford. I imagine if Chinook owners check many are a year apart, many are the same.

Re: Any opinions?
Funny I thought the same thing about the slides unless the picture is bad I only see one the price is very attractive I'm really looking for a concourse but this isn't much more unfortunately I live in Connecticut so I actually can't swing by and look at it I guess I would have to pay somebody to inspect it I'm wondering if the washer is an option or something somebody added I know the floor plan calls for a chair in that spot the only thing that really turns me off about it is it's really a waste with twin beds I guess you could change it out I'm kind of a person that likes things to be all original but I got to admit the price seems pretty good,Wade
