Interior Fan

Post by Skillet »

Thanks to Blue recommending a couple of marine fans for the interior to help move air around at a lower amperage than the Fantastic Fan, I picked the Caframo 747. I liked the reviews on it over the Hella Turbo. It's not silent but it can move some air, even on the low setting. It's a little noisey, but I don't mind because I need some kind of noise to sleep.

I mounted it under the cabinets on the driver side with the supplied screws. I ran the cord behind the "mood lighting" rope light by using 3 Command Hooks. As you can see in the pic it pops out by the cigarette lighter at the power for the antenna. Again, works great and can rotate to any angle you want. You can put your finger in the spinning blades and it'll only hurt a tiny bit. I'm not worried that there's no cage and some people say it moves a little bit more air because of that.

Looks good! To my ear, the Hella Turbo is the quietest and lowest pitch (until the bearings go out, but that's usually years), but I feel like the Caframo moves more air. So as usual, no perfect one choice. But they both draw SO little. And no fan to put away :)

Glad you like it.
